Professional orientation for pupils and young people

Professional orientation with job coaching

Professional orientation brings with it a number of questions: What profession should I learn? What do I enjoy so much that I could make it my profession? Should I study or rather do an apprenticeship? What is important to me when choosing a career? Joy, self-fulfilment, the prospect of good earnings, career opportunities, good job prospects?

Young people who have just finished school find it increasingly difficult to answer these questions. Because the options are becoming more diverse every year: universities are offering increasingly specialised Bachelor’s and Master’s degree courses, new training models and job profiles are emerging – others are disappearing. School leavers haveto make a decision without really being able to survey the entire range of options and without knowing how the job market will change in the digital world in the coming years. That creates pressure.

Experience in professional orientation has shown that those who deal intensively with their career choice and their individual motives and motivations can have a more lasting and successful effect in their professional field.

With career coaching methods we help young people in Cologne and the surrounding area to answer these and all other questions individually for their personality. In the end, a decision is made that is not just based on gut instinct or the will of other people. Our motivation is to help young professionals or school leavers to find the best decision for themselves.
