Team workshop: working together to achieve sustainable results

Imagine your team working together clearly, openly and with shared responsibility. With a team workshop, we create a framework in which exchange is successful, tensions are clarified and new perspectives emerge. Especially when communication falters or roles are unclear, we help you to deal with issues in a structured and targeted manner.

Our team workshops are more than just meetings: they promote trust, create clarity and strengthen cooperation in everyday working life. We design the process to suit your team – structured in its approach, open to what emerges and consistently focused on realizable results.

Typical occasions for a team workshop

These occasions often form the starting point for a joint reflection process:

  • Potential for improvement in cooperation
  • Inefficient workflows and processes
  • Unclear roles, tasks and responsibilities
  • Inadequate communication structures and a lack of feedback culture
  • Weak sense of unity and lack of shared values
  • Smouldering conflicts in the team
  • Challenges in dealing with change
  • Lack of common goals and strategic orientation

Target group

  • new teams, departments or divisions
  • Existing teams and units
  • Project and working groups
  • Management and management teams

Typical group size: 5 to 40 people.
We accompany larger groups of up to 200 people with large group moderation.

In an initial exchange, we clarify your concerns, your goals and possible next steps for your team.

Your benefit: What is different after the workshop?

After the workshop, your team will work together in a clearer, more coordinated and more effective way:

  • Roles, tasks and responsibilities are clarified and comprehensible
  • Conflicts are addressed at an early stage and dealt with in a solution-oriented manner
  • Binding agreements provide orientation in everyday working life
  • Noticeable reduction in coordination effort and friction losses
  • Decisions are made more clearly and quickly

This results in concrete, practicable agreements that are sustainable in everyday life and have a direct impact.

Typical procedure and cooperation

In our team workshop, we support your team in a clearly structured, moderated process to work on the topics that are currently relevant. The focus is on day-to-day collaboration, an open exchange on expectations, roles and communication as well as the development of concrete agreements that take direct effect. Depending on the issue, we delve deeper into two to four key topics that actually influence or block collaboration. The process combines a clear structure with methodological diversity and sufficient space for exchange:

Preparation

  • Preliminary discussion on current team dynamics, challenges and goals
  • Clarification of group size, duration and general conditions
  • Development of a tailor-made process with varied formats (cognitive, visual, activating)

Implementation

  • Introduction with welcome, objectives and process clarification as well as icebreaker or round of introductions
  • Collection of participants’ expectations and needs
  • Structured work on the main topics, e.g. in small groups
  • Use of specific methods such as “away from – towards”, SWOT or retrospectives
  • Joint evaluation in plenary with moderated discussion, feedback and consensus building
  • Deepening through exercises or working on further aspects – depending on the objective
  • Derivation of concrete measures, responsibilities and next steps
  • Conclusion with summary and feedback round

Duration: usually between 1/2 day and 2 days
Format: face-to-face, online or hybrid

Follow-up

  • Photo protocol and structured summary of the results
  • Securing agreements for sustainable implementation in day-to-day work
  • Joint evaluation meeting
