We work in Cologne, the Rhineland and throughout Germany – in person or digitally, in German and English. Our systemic way of working: with clarity, trust and impact
We create spaces in which people can open up, talk to each other and develop solutions together. It all starts with trust – in each other, in the manager and in us as facilitators. This psychological security forms the basis for ideas, questions, objections and even conflicts to be expressed openly.
Our systemic approach: We moderate with clarity, neutrality, sensitivity and humor. We listen, ask open and solution-oriented questions and steer the process so that every voice is heard and every contribution is valued – including those of the quieter participants, who often contribute particularly valuable perspectives. We moderate discussions in such a way that a consensus is reached from different perspectives, resulting in a joint, viable solution.
Our approach is systemic, our method interactive and creative: we work with cognitive, visual and physically active methods to combine thinking, experience and movement. In this way, we promote self-efficacy, energy and shared understanding – even with complex topics.
We use the resources and, in particular, the creativity of the entire team to develop sustainable solutions. We bring structure to complex discussions, de-escalate tensions and keep the thread running until clear, jointly supported decisions are reached.
Finally, we derive concrete action steps and measures with clear responsibilities – and visualize the process, findings and results in such a way that they remain tangible for everyone.

What does systemic mean?
Colleagues, friends, family: we are all integrated into different social life systems. These systems influence our behaviour – and our behaviour has an effect on the individual systems. The systemic approach and our systemic work are based on this insight. To achieve lasting success, the following points are crucial:
- The systemic approach views people in the context of their entire personal systems at all times.
- We use systemic methods to make these personal systems transparent.
- This opens up new perspectives; new paths become visible and enable sustainable solutions.
Focus on your own resources & change of perspective
In order to solve a problem, it is usually of little use to only research its cause. Oriented on the model of solution-oriented counselling according to Steve De Shazer the systemic approach focuses instead on the resources, the positive, the future and the goal. This approach significantly supports people in changing their behavior and thought patterns in the desired direction and finding the solution to their problems themselves.
The systemic approach is based on following insight: There is no truth, only constructions of reality. We all interpret and evaluate situations and events differently. Following this interpretation we construct our own reality, which then determines our behaviour. Often we get in our own way with our interpretations of reality. Once we have declared a situation to be a problem, we will quickly perceive further events as reinforcing the problem. In order to break out of this vicious circle, we need to change our view of things and to adopt other perspectives. Systemic methods make this possible through, for example:
- the experience of desired target states
- Activating existing resources
- the alternation of association and dissociation
- Adopting a meta-perspective
