With LEGO workshops we find creative solutions
Sometimes the best idea is already inside us – it just needs the right space to become visible. In our LEGO workshops we create exactly this space.
With the method LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® we accompany teams and organizations in this process, make complex topics tangible and together develop sustainable solutions.
We live our systemic principles: All perspectives count, every voice is heard – and the team discovers the solutions. Suitable solutions that stick, because they were built together.

What is LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?
LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) is much more more than a game. It is a creative and at the same time scientifically sound approachto make ideas visible, promote communication and develop innovative solutions together.
In a LEGO workshop models are created that not only show ideas, but also create understanding: regarding challenges, structures and relationships in teams or organizations. All participants contribute their knowledge, experience and intuition – visible, tangible and equal. This creates Insightsthat are not only discussed, but experienced – and which lay the foundation for sustainable change for sustainable change.
What makes LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® different from ordinary LEGO® building?
When playing with LEGO®, we usually build real objects, the outside world – houses, vehicles, figures.
With LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® we build the inner world: Thoughts, emotions, ideas, wishes. The stones become metaphors. They give form and expression to what is difficult to say.
And the decisive factor: Everyone listens to each other’s model explanations. This creates real understanding.
The methodology in the LEGO Workshop
Not “from head to hand” – but “from hand to head”
Instead of just discussing concepts, the participants build models that symbolize their thoughts, goals or challenges. stand for their thoughts, goals or challenges.
Touching, moving and building activates our thinking in a different way: Connections become visible, complexity becomes comprehensible, solutions become more concrete.
The special thing about this method:
- Everyone has equal rights – every vote counts, every model is important.
- The discussion revolves around models, not people – this makes the exchange open and respectful, the collaboration solution-oriented and less conflictual.
- Even quieter participants find it easier to get involved – because “thinking with your hands” appeals to everyone.
This is how every LEGO workshop an atmosphere of mutual respect, genuine participation and shared creativity.

Procedure and transfer from LEGO workshopsFrom model to implementation
A LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Workshop follows a clear construction process that combines creativity and structure. After a brief introduction to the material (“skill building”)step by step models for specific questions. Each model is presented, interpreted and reflected on together – in an open dialog at eye level. The participants then combine their individual models into a common building from many perspectivesthat shows how shared understanding and cooperation take shape.
At the end is the transfer: The participants lead concrete measures, principles or next steps that can be integrated directly into everyday life. In this way, a jointly created, symbolic model becomes a Binding action plan with a lasting effect.
